Please note that we cannot guarantee safe delivery nor accept liability for late delivery, as we are relying on a third party courier. When possible, we advise that you place your order in plenty of time to avoid disappointment. At present we are unable to offer overseas and EU deliveries, as delivery is taking considerably longer than we would hope and is unsuitable for perishable items.

Due to the significant volumes of home deliveries being made by couriers throughout the U.K. Some deliveries are taking up to two days to reach their destination. Whisky is sent entirely at the customers own risk as we are unable to guarantee safe delivery. Loch Fyne Whiskies, where appropriate, will complete a customs declaration form declaring 'Specialist Malt Whisky, No Commercial Value' and stating replacement value. Prices shown are inclusive of VAT at 20%, which may be deducted for non-EU countries.
International Delivery
Orders with a produce value over £80.00 are delivered free of the basic carriage charge to mainland UK addresses. Orders with a value over £70.00 are delivered free of charge to U.K. For any existing orders, please be assured that your order is secure and we will deliver as soon as we are able to do so once more.
If you are awaiting a delivery please check to see if the parcel has been left in a safe place. We can also deliver your order to your permanent place of employment as long as there is someone who is able to receive and sign for the delivery on your behalf. Salmon is gently smoked over oak shavings from retired whisky casks resulting in a mild delicate flavour. In the event of you being charged for carriage this will be refunded. The driver will leave the order in a safe place or you can add a delivery instruction when you place your order.
USA Customs Tariff on Single Malt Whisky
We are unable to ship to Tenerife due to restrictions on alcohol delivery. Military bases are very difficult to deliver to and must as a minimum have a physical address attached to them. Please note that our carrier can only deliver to Islay on either Tuesday or Friday each week and only to certain areas. However, customers may be liable for taxes/duties in their own countries. We do not deliver on Saturday or Sunday unless by special arrangement. Check the latest info from DPD about potential delays on deliveries to your area. Schools are not acceptable addresses due to the nature of the contents of the packages. Provided we have the product in stock, all orders will be delivered within 3-4 working days. There will be a charge for this chilled service of £20 for the first box and £8 for each extra box.
Reduce & Recycle
We are happy to delivery your order to an address that is different to your normal billing address. To do this, simply enter the desired delivery address during the checkout process. Scottish Imports - can provide details of local outlets and offer a seasonal home delivery service at Christmas. Ecosse Gourmet, based in Paris, offers a chilled home delivery service through their website.
Loch Fyne Whiskies cannot be held liable for any customs duties and taxes. We require someone of legal age under local licensing laws to be present at the delivery address to sign for acceptance of the goods. Goods are despatched by a third party courier and their terms and conditions apply. Overseas deliveries require a lead-time of 7-10 working days for all orders. If you have not received your goods within 21 days please contact us immediately.
We'll send you an email alert when your order is ready to collect. Once your order has been sent to a store we cannot rearrange for delivery to another shop or a home address – get in touch if you need further assistance. Our gift vouchers are sent by Royal Mail first class post the day before your requested delivery date. Please note that if your vouchers are for a special occasion, please consider the possibility of delays when selecting your delivery date.
These orders will be processed for delivery on the next working day after the order is placed. Orders placed after the cut-off time on any working day will be processed and dispatched on the following working day. Please note that this means any orders placed after 1pm on Friday will be delivered on the following Tuesday. Next Day Delivery is not available on orders with a pre-order item or an engraved or personalised item.
When you checkout with us, we'll give you the option to choose our Reduce & Recycle service. Lots of our products come with a gift box, tube or carton, which can be difficult to pack safely. Often our customers find they don't want this extra packaging and it's difficult to recycle at home. By choosing not to receive this outer packaging in the first place you can save paper, reduce carbon emissions and save time at the recycling centre. Collect your items free of charge from one of our shops if we have it in stock – just choose 'Collect from Shop' during checkout.
Drivers will NOT request a signature on delivery, but will ask for the recipient's name and include this on the delivery record.
Please note that deliveries to certain postcodes including the Scottish Highlands & Islands, Isle of Man & the Isle of Wight may take between 2 and 5 days. When shopping on our website, the amount you need to spend to receive free delivery will count down until you reach £80.00 in the top corner of your screen. The delivery date can be selected at checkout on our website.
The subsequent transition period ended on 31st December 2020. It is likely that orders to EU countries will now be liable to local customs charges and VAT. Unfortunately we cannot confirm what these charges may be so please check with your local customs office for any applicable charges.
